It depends on your turnover. Registration becomes compulsory once your taxable sales pass the SARS threshold within a 12-month period, and you can choose to register voluntarily below that. We'll look at your numbers and tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
Most small businesses submit a VAT201 every two months, but SARS assigns your tax period when you register. We keep track of your due dates and submit on time.
You'll need to be registered with SARS Customs as an importer before your goods arrive. We prepare and submit the registration for you and tell you exactly which documents to have ready.
